Sewing Machine Repair & Service

If you are just getting to know us, you may not know that we have been repairing ALL makes/models of sewing machines and vacuums since 1974. This year marks our 40th anniversary.

It makes no difference to us if you purchased your machine from us, or elsewhere, you will get the same excellent service as long time customers.

When you bring your machine to our store, feel free to come in first and ask us to assist you. We can use our cart to transport your machine so  you don't need to carry it. You can also drop it off at the back door, closest to the repair shop room.

Generally, we will need to take the machine to our repair shop to get an idea of what's wrong before giving you an estimate. This estimate is absolutely free. If for any reason your machine cannot be repaired, we will tell you honestly. If it can be  repaired, we will tell you what it will cost. For most machines, expect to get your machine back in 1-3 days.
Servicing (not just repairing) a machine, is similar to getting the oil and filters changed on your car. It keeps the machine in good working order. Machines that have not been used in a while can freeze up. So its a good idea to get your machine out and use it to prevent this. However, just like a car, a sewing machine should be serviced regularly. The charge for a full service is $59.99 for a mechanical machine and $69.99 for a computerized machine.

Many people call and ask us to diagnose their machine over the phone. This is very hard to do. If for any reason you cannot come to the store, please call us and we will make arrangements, if at all possible, to pick up your machine and return it to you. For an idea of the cost, please contact us at 423.246.4520.
