Micro Embroidery

There is a special art to creating something tiny and still providing detail. Whether it be a tattoo, a tiny sculpture, a painting the size of a penny, it is something to behold.

Micro embroidery is something that many embroiderers are afraid to approach. New threads made specifically for micro embroidery are coming out on the market and its really amazing to behold.These particular spools are produced by RNK Distributors.

How many yards of thread do you think are on the small spool? 100? 500?

Try 3000 yards of 60 weight thread!!

Micro embroidery allows for elegant embellishments compared to bold statements.

It also allows for 2-3 cm lettering with single stitches. Basic block letter usually has better results compared to script lettering.

If you have a complicated design that you would like embroidered, using your Digitizer MBX software would allow you to eliminate some elements of the design to allow it to be sharper.
